I have used this pharmacy for my regular prescriptions for a long time, even before it was under a different management and name but my experience with their ear wax removal service was appalling. I will no longer be using them for my prescriptions or any other services. Having had this procedure done professionally multiple times over the years (via NHS, Specsavers, and private ear clinics), I am well aware of standard care practices. My experience here failed on every level: Inconsistent & Misleading Advice: Reception staff initially instructed me to apply oil drops for 5 minutes, 3 times a day for 4–5 days. When I arrived for the appointment, the practitioner claimed it should have been 15 minutes, contradicting what their own staff told me. Poor Appointment Management: After paying the full £60 upfront for both ears, I was told they would call to book the appointment. They failed to call, and I had to chase them up myself. Unsatisfactory Procedure: The practitioner spent barely one minute per ear. He claimed one ear was too hard to remove without risk and only partially treated the second. I left unable to hear out of my right ear. Hostile Customer Service & Unannounced Fees: When I called back to rebook as advised, the staff member became argumentative and shouted over the phone, denying what was originally said. I was then informed I would be charged extra for a follow-up appointment to complete the unfinished treatment, something never mentioned beforehand. Unresolved Issues: I was promised a call back from the manager, which never happened. Subsequent attempts to call were met with a busy signal. The issue isn't just that the wax couldn't be fully cleared in one go, that can happen. It is the unprofessional attitude, lack of clear written pre-appointment instructions, shouting at customers, and attempt to extract more money for an incomplete service. I have now removed this pharmacy as my nominated pharmacy with my GP. Save your time and money and go to a proper, professional clinic instead.

Very disappointing. Every time I visit, there seems to be an issue, whether it’s the staff’s attitude or the lack of products available. The shelves are often poorly stocked, with very few items available. On top of that, the staff rarely seem to know what’s in stock or when products will be available. Overall, the experience has been consistently frustrating, and I hope improvements can be made to both customer service and stock availability.

I asked for nicotine patches and wasn’t registered in tell and the guy asked the manger or owner and Got charged £19.99 and thought that was expensive and when I checked online boots and super drug selling them for around £9

Very disappointing experience. Staff l, especially the lady at the reception was rude and requested excessive personal information ( nhs ref number, DoB), etc. in front of other customers. The pharmacy seemed disorganised and the visit was frustrating. I expected better professionalism and confidentiality.
